Get inside our heads

Shower squeegies. That is how I have decided to start off our very first blog entry, extolling the cleansing and addicting virtues of my $5 shower squeegie.

Lawton, who has been an honorary member of the band almost since its beginning and who developed this Web site, says we have to make these blogs personal.

So it is, with the shower squeegie. We promise it won’t ALL be this dull. But hopefully you get the idea … by sharing things as mundane as my take on a bathroom accessory, we intend to cast a light onto our inner lives, giving you details from the routine to the spectacular that we normally wouldn’t get to share.

We’re going to attempt to update this thing quite often, perhaps a few times a week, maybe more, maybe less. We will also be producing and posting podcasts on a regular basis … maybe once every few weeks, maybe more, maybe less. So keep checking back.

Also, expect to hear from everyone in the band. Justin, Mark and myself will all be contributing blogs, and we’ll be participating in podcasts together — that is, when we’re not too busy rehearsing and working on the band.

Anyway, so here’s my thing about shower squeegies. Every day, before exiting the shower, I spend about 1-2 minutes wiping down the walls and curtain with the squeegie. The shower goes from wet and spotty to dry and shiny, negating the need to ever scrub. (Not that I really clean showers anyway.) I have attempted to break my addiction to the squeegie, but I cannot bring myself to leave the shower in such disarray. I cannot imagine how I could ever have showered B.S. (before squeegee).

Hopefully I’ll have more stuff to bore you with soon. Next, maybe I’ll write about my fancy electric shaver …

ROCK!
